HiFi Sequencing for Nature's Complexity: Plant, Animal and Microbial Insights

Abstract
PacBio HiFi sequencing has become the go-to technology for plant, animal, and microbial genomic research. The high-throughput Revio platform enables cost-effective WGS, variant detection, full-length RNA transcript analysis, epigenome analysis, and metagenome analysis. This breakthrough allows synchronized multi-omics sequencing for the first time—an unprecedented data collection approach not possible with previous sequencing technologies.
Meanwhile, PacBio’s new benchtop Vega sequencer makes HiFi sequencing more accessible and affordable for researchers. Additionally, the talk will highlight innovations that unify HiFi reads to meet two key needs for high-quality genome assembly: 1) highly contiguous HiFi assembly and 2) pseudo-chromosome scaffolding enabled by HiFi-powered Hi-C (CiFi).

MERSCOPE Ultra™, the next-generation high-plex, in situ spatial genomics platform, delivers expanded imaging (3.0 cm²), customizable panels (up to 1000 genes), and unmatched sensitivity to capture cellular complexity at single-cell and subcellular resolution.
Powered by MERFISH 2.0, this enhanced chemistry further improves transcript detection sensitivity and specificity, revealing intricate cellular interactions and tissue organization across diverse sample types, including FFPE and frozen tissues.
